We’d like to invite you to join our meeting on Wednesday 1st February – Stand up to Lameness.

We have a guest speaker, Liz Nabb who worked as a farm animal vet in North Devon for 15 years before embarking on a full-time PhD in 2018, which she recently completed. Liz will be presenting the results of her project, a clinical trial that compared an alternative footrot vaccine against Footvax under commercial flock conditions. There will also be a discussion of best practice control of infectious lameness (footrot and CODD), responsible use of antimicrobials, and an overview of scanning surveillance.
